Each conference day will feature one live plenary keynote session. The keynotes will take place in Canada Hall 1&2 at the Rogers Centre Ottawa and be streamed into the virtual conference platform. All keynote sessions will be fully accessible with simultaneous interpretation into French and English captioning.
Aimed at Executive Directors, Directors and Senior Managers across the career and workforce development sector, these sessions examine organizational, sectoral and economic changes and what they means for decision-makers and change agents in our communities.
The Workforce Development Spotlight takes the form of one whole Block of five presentations on Monday, January 24 from 2:15 pm - 3:15 pm ET. It will explore how workforce strategies increase community capacity and improve employment opportunities through systemic change.
Each live conference day will include several hybrid sessions. These sessions will consist of keynotes, main stage presentations, plenary discussions, opening ceremonies and the Wileman Award presentation. They will be streamed live from the in-person Cannexus at the Rogers Centre Ottawa to the virtual platform. All hybrid sessions will be fully accessible, featuring simultaneous interpretation in French, as well as English and French captioning.
These video-based group (4-5 people) matchmaking sessions take place during one break each day. If you sign up for Hallway Meetings, CERIC will randomly match you with other attendees and schedule the Zoom Meeting in your personal schedule in the virtual conference platform.
