CERIC is a charitable organization that advances education and research in career counselling and career development, in order to increase the economic and social well-being of Canadians. It funds projects to develop innovative resources that build the knowledge and skills of diverse career and employment professionals. International Experience Canada (IEC) is a federal government initiative whereby Canadian youth can work and travel to over 30 partner countries/territories. The Nova Scotia Career Development Association (NSCDA) is a not-for-profit professional organization with approximately 600 members from across the province. The NSCDA’s goal is to strengthen the role of the career development profession within Nova Scotia by providing both guidance and the tools to ensure members can maximize their potential. The NSCDA does this by providing members with a RPL-Based Certification Program, career development and training opportunities, networking events and a highly anticipated annual conference.
