CERIC invites individuals or organizations with an interest in presenting at the annual Cannexus to submit a brief session outline for consideration using the Proposal Form and encourages you to inform colleagues or students of this opportunity.
Submitting a proposal is not a commitment to present at the conference. If you submit a proposal and you are selected to present, you will receive a formal email invitation by the summer – with further details on session type, duration and whether in-person or virtual – and at that time you will be given a deadline to accept or decline the invitation.
Watch for the Cannexus24 Call for Presenters to be released in spring 2023.
The Cannexus23 Call for Presenters deadline was June 17, 2022.
You are welcome to still submit a proposal, which will be added to the wait list for consideration. We will notify you if a spot becomes available.
Please read the Guidelines and Terms of Presenting before proceeding to the Proposal Form.
Presenting at Cannexus, Canada’s largest bilingual Career Development Conference, provides you with an unmatched opportunity to exchange information and explore innovative approaches in the areas of career counselling and career and workforce development. You will gain recognition as an expert and leader in the field at the conference and beyond. We expect participants from across Canada and internationally. In the past, our conferences have drawn more than 1,000 delegates each year.
Cannexus presenters are researchers and practitioners from universities, schools, community agencies, governments, private practices and corporations. They are professionals in career and workforce development and related fields who are forward-thinkers with fresh and impactful ideas and projects to convey.
As the organizer of Cannexus, CERIC is committed to principles of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. We are actively encouraging the participation of individuals from equity-deserving groups, such as Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+ and persons with disability.
