Virtual Exhibitor FAQs

All registered delegates who have paid their registration fees will receive an email the week of January 4, 2021 with login details. 

You must register your two exhibitor staff by December 15 in order to receive the login email and be able to build your booth.

No. If you do not pay your registration fees by January 4, you will not receive the login email that week. You will receive your login email once you pay your registration fees. If you do not pay your registration fees before the conference, you will not be granted access to the virtual conference platform.

No. Once you register in Eventbrite, you will receive a confirmation email. This email confirms your registration. You will not need to claim your tickets in order to login to the virtual conference platform. Your registration details will be uploaded into the virtual conference platform, and you will receive an email the week of January 4 with login details.

To ensure that you do not have any difficulties logging into the platform on the live event days, we recommend you login to the platform when you receive your login details in early January 2021. When you login, you will be asked to build your attendee profile. You will also be able to take a look around the platform to get yourself acclimated to the functionality.

Exhibitor hours take place during all Cannexus breaks, as well as on January 27 from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm ET. View the Cannexus schedule.

Your exhibitor profile must be set up before January 25, 2021, which is the first day of the conference.

There is an exhibitor training session taking place on December 16 from 4 pm-5pm ET. The session will show you how you how to set up your exhibitor profile and navigate the platform. If you are unable to attend the session, the recording will be sent to you afterwards.

As an exhibitor, you will receive a detailed exhibitor profile page within the Cannexus21 platform that you can customize with a rich description of your company, and the profiles of the delegates from your organization.

You will also be able to include a video or multiple videos on this exhibitor page. If you wish to have a video embedded on your exhibitor page, the video would need to be on YouTube or Vimeo and cannot be larger than 10 GB.

You will have options to include the following on your exhibitor page: company name, header with logo (see specs below), description, partner type, social media information (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), videos, website information, ability to link or upload files (brochures).

Yes. You will have a list of all attendees who visited your exhibitor page. In this case, you will be able to view the name and organization, and not contact information. You will be able to contact them through the platform if you choose.

You will also have a list of “Leads,” which are attendees who requested information from you. In this case, you will have their name as well as contact information.

Yes. We will award attendees with points for watching exhibitor videos, downloading exhibitor files and requesting information from exhibitors. The top attendees on the leaderboard will win prizes.

If you wish to have a giveaway at your booth, you are welcome to organize that as well.

In addition to Hallway Meetings, you can also schedule 1:1 or group video meetings with other attendees by choosing “Schedule Meeting.” Attendees who you request a meeting with will receive a notification in their personal inbox which they can accept or decline. If they accept, the meeting will be added to your personal agendas.

On January 27 from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm ET, you can also participate in a Cocktail Party, French meetup or Student Networking.

The virtual conference platform will offer bilingual text wherever possible with some exceptions. Unfortunately, some system buttons, dates, etc. are not able to be displayed in both languages.

All live plenary sessions will take place with simultaneous interpretation in English and French. Also, at least one session in each live block will be able to be viewed with interpretation (voiceover dubbing).

All live concurrent sessions will use Wordly for captioning. Wordly will provide captioning in 15 different languages (including English and French).

Yes, all sessions will be recorded and will be available to registered attendees through the virtual conference platform for a year. Please save your login email, and bookmark your unique link so you will have easy access to the recordings following the conference.

Pathable. Pathable uses Zoom in order to stream sessions.
