Professor Nancy Arthur is Dean Research for UniSA Business, University of South Australia and Professor Emeritus, University of Calgary, Canada. Nancy’s research focuses on culture-infused career counselling, diversity and social justice in professional practice, and international learning and employment transitions. Nancy is an elected Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association and served on the Board of the International Association of Educational and Vocational Guidance. Nancy collaborated with colleagues Roberta Borgen and Mary McMahon for two CERIC-funded projects, Career Theories and Models at Work: Ideas for Practice and Career Theories and Models in Practice.

Roberta is co-developer of the Career Engagement model and her research and practice has focussed on training and equipping career development professionals and counsellors, across Canada and internationally. Together with Nancy Arthur and Mary McMahon, and career development theorists across the globe, Roberta has been contributing to creative projects that bring theory to life in the day-to-day work of front-line career development practitioners.

Dr. Mary McMahon is an Honorary Associate Professor at The University of Queensland, School of Education, Australia. Mary is a developer and co-author of the Systems Theory Framework of career development. She researches and publishes on career development across the lifespan, narrative and systems approaches to career counselling, and qualitative career assessment. Mary has worked with Nancy Arthur and Roberta Borgen for nearly a decade to make career theory more accessible in practice to career practitioners.
