CERIC is a charitable organization that advances education and research in career counselling and career development, in order to increase the economic and social well-being of Canadians. It funds projects to develop innovative resources that build the knowledge and skills of diverse career and employment professionals. CERIC also annually hosts Cannexus, Canada’s largest bilingual career development conference, publishes the country’s only peer-reviewed journal, Canadian Journal of Career Development, and runs the CareerWise / OrientAction websites, providing the top career development news and views.

Our programs are available for customized training and virtual hybrid delivery across Canada and fully online. We also offer Advanced training for CDPs who wish to enter into Management roles.
International Experience Canada (IEC) is a federal government initiative whereby Canadian youth can work and travel to over 30 partner countries/territories. Foreign youth these countries may come to Canada to do the same. Whether it is to take a gap year, complete a co-op/internship abroad, or gain international work experience after graduation, IEC can help make these experiences happen!
The Marine Institute (MI) is a recognized world-leading centre for marine and ocean-related career education, training and applied research. As a campus of Memorial University, MI provides a full range of industry-driven programs focusing on the marine sciences and technology at the undergraduate and graduate-level offering everything from certificates and diplomas to Bachelors, Masters and PhDs.
The Nova Scotia Career Development Association (NSCDA) is a not-for-profit professional organization with approximately 600 members from across the province. The NSCDA’s goal is to strengthen the role of the career development profession within Nova Scotia by providing both guidance and the tools to ensure members can maximize their potential. The NSCDA does this by providing members with a RPL-Based Certification Program, career development and training opportunities, networking events and a highly anticipated annual conference.

University of Calgary Continuing Education offers over 1,200 courses and seminars for personal and professional development, most of which can be taken online. We offer an online 200-hour Certificate in Career Development and Academic Advising, and a 300-hour online Certificate in Adult Learning specializing in Career and Academic Advising.
